Systems Analyst

I turn messy requirements into systems that hold up.

I'm Sheila Hikmatul Maula, a junior systems analyst with a degree in Information Systems. I sit between stakeholders and engineers - mapping business logic, drawing the data flows and entity relationships, and writing the documentation that keeps a build on track. Currently seeking systems analyst opportunities in New Zealand.

About me

I think in flows and relationships. Give me a vague request and I'll come back with the actors, the data, and the edge cases drawn out where everyone can see them.

My work lives in the space between what a business says it wants and what a system actually has to do. I gather requirements from stakeholders, model them as data flow and entity relationship diagrams, and translate them into schemas and architecture an engineering team can build against without guessing.

I write clearly and document thoroughly, because the analysis is only useful if other people can act on it. I'm comfortable reading and writing code in Go and PHP, querying PostgreSQL directly, and keeping API contracts honest as a build evolves.

Education

Bachelor of Information Systems

GPA 3.69 / 4.00

Universitas Merdeka Malang (UNMER)

Studied information systems with a focus on systems analysis and design - business process modelling, database design, and the UML and DFD techniques I use today. Graduated with a 3.69 GPA, placing in the high-achiever band of my cohort.

  • Systems analysis & design
  • Database systems (SQL / PostgreSQL)
  • Software requirements engineering
  • Business process modelling

Selected projects

Each one taken from business question to documented design.

01

Pay Safe Parking

Smart parking payment system

  • DFD
  • ERD
  • PostgreSQL
  • Process mapping

A parking payment platform analysed from the business rules up. I modelled how a vehicle moves through entry, billing, and exit, then turned those rules into data flow diagrams and a normalised entity relationship model the build could rely on.

  • Business logic for tariffs, sessions & exceptions
  • Levelled data flow diagrams (DFD) of the payment flow
  • Entity relationship diagram (ERD) for vehicles, sessions & transactions
02

Blue Lock Arena

Match & arena management system

  • Workflow design
  • System architecture
  • SQL
  • UML

A management system for arena bookings, players, and match scheduling. The work centred on workflow diagrams and a system architecture that kept scheduling, results, and roster data consistent across the platform.

  • End-to-end workflow diagrams for bookings & matches
  • System architecture splitting scheduling, players & results
  • Robust relational database mapping with referential integrity

Ruangguru

Ed-tech platform case study

  • Requirements
  • API docs
  • Process mapping
  • Figma

A case study analysing an education platform's learning and content flows. I led requirements gathering with stakeholders, then specified and documented the APIs that connect content, progress tracking, and the learner experience.

  • Technical requirements gathering across features
  • Stakeholder collaboration to align scope & priorities
  • API documentation for content & progress endpoints
